Python CNC Machine Operator

Our client, a Canadian provider of structural steel, is looking for a Python CNC Machine Operator to work in Newmarket! This is a full time long term job opportunity!

Responsibilities
– Develop, test, and maintain Python scripts or programs for automation, data processing, and system tasks.
– Operate and monitor Python-based applications to ensure smooth daily execution.
– Debug and troubleshoot errors in Python code and suggest improvements.
– Integrate Python scripts with databases, APIs, or third-party tools.
– Document code, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
– Perform scheduled or on-demand runs of Python programs and verify outputs.

Requirements:
– Work in a fast-paced Steel production/shop environment
– Strong understanding of Python programming fundamentals (syntax, libraries, error handling).
– Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues quickly.
– Attention to detail when running scripts and verifying results.

Pay rate:
– $27/hour
– Weekly pay every Friday
