Robot Welding Operator

Now hiring a robot welding operator in Newmarket! Your work will contribute to the construction industry in Ontario! We are looking for someone who can work both day and afternoon shifts.

Responsibilities
– Operate and monitor robotic welding systems for steel fabrication.
– Load, position, and secure steel components
– Set up welding machines, fixtures, wire, gas, and welding parameters according to production requirements.
– Verify robot programs and make basic parameter adjustments when required.
– Perform basic troubleshooting of robotic welding equipment.
– Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of welding equipment and work areas.
– Use measuring tools and welding inspection equipment.

What you bring:
– Previous experience operating robotic welding equipment is preferred.
– Experience with steel welding and fabrication.
– Ability to read and understand welding drawings and shop drawings.
– Knowledge of MIG welding processes is an asset.
– Basic understanding of welding parameters such as voltage, amperage, wire speed, and gas flow.

Pay:
– $27-30/hour
– Weekly pay every Friday
