Junior QC/QA Coordinator

We are looking for a Junior QC/QA Coordinator to join our team! If you have experience working with structural steel – your skills are in demand!

– $28.85/hour

Responsibilities:
– Ensuring fabricated steel components meet project specifications, customer requirements, company quality standards, and applicable industry codes before they leave the shop.
– Working alongside senior welders, they will support quality inspections, verify fabrication accuracy, maintain quality documentation, identify non-conformances, and assist with corrective actions to ensure consistent product quality

Requirements:
– Experience working in a structural steel fabrication environment.
– Strong knowledge to interpret steel fabrication drawings and welding symbols .
– A strong understanding of dimensional tolerances, fit-up, and fabrication processes.
– Familiarity with welding inspection and quality control procedures.
– Working knowledge of industry standards such as CSA W47.1, CSA W59, and ISO quality management systems is considered an asset.
