– Pay rate from $40-43/hour, based on experience
Responsibilities:
– Maintain and repair components and systems such as motors, inverters, bearings, gears, clutches, couplings. etc.
– Completing preventive maintenance requirements on equipment
– Troubleshooting and inspecting programmable logic controllers, distributive control systems including control card replacement and wiring terminations
– Identify issues and determine root cause of malfunctioning equipment.
– Perform basic welding and machinist tasks.
– Respond to emergency requests for maintenance (after hours/weekends as needed)
– Monitors pre-treatment bath chemical composition and adjusts in conjunction with the Technical Director
– Completes maintenance records and maintains operating logbooks and databases as required.
– Maintains control of plant tools, manuals, repair parts, assemblies, and consumables
– Research equipment manuals and requisition repair parts.
– Identify and assist in sourcing/purchasing parts.
– Applicant must be a highly motivated individual willing to work flexible shifts depending on workload in a team orientated environment with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
– College Diploma, University Degree, or Skilled Trade Certificate
– Minimum High School Diploma combined with equivalent work experience and education including
– Previous involvement in a similar role and/or industry with a minimum of 3 years’ industry experience
– Millwright trade designation is an asset
– Welding experience
– Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced team environment
– Ability to read technical drawings.
– Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
Shift availability:
– Day shift – Monday to Friday 7am – 3pm on most days
– Candidate must be able to respond to emergency requests for maintenance (after hours/weekends as needed)
