Maintenance Technician NEW

Join a leading Canadian manufacturer of advanced fiberglass rebar!

We are currently hiring a Maintenance Technician for a full-time night shift position with a growing Canadian company specializing in the manufacturing of advanced fiberglass rebar.

Shift:

12-hour night shifts: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Rotating schedule:
Sunday-Tuesday
Sunday-Wednesday
Two paid 30-minute breaks

Location: Woodbridge, ON (Steeles/Islington)

Pay: $22/h

Responsibilities:

Perform regular preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and complete repairs in a timely manner.
Inspect production equipment and the facility to identify maintenance issues.
Work closely with the Production team to complete preventative maintenance activities.
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety and environmental regulations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
Conduct routine inspections to identify faulty equipment before failures occur.
Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements:

Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is considered an asset.
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work 12-hour rotating night shifts.
