Our client, in business for over 60 years, continues to grow and has an immediate need for a Receiving Manager.
This role manages inbound delivery scheduling, dock flow, product receiving, cooler, freezer, and trailer inventory, and coordination with production, quality assurance, transportation, and suppliers. The Receiving Manager ensures that all receiving activities support food safety, traceability, inventory control, operational efficiency, and compliance with Canadian Food Inspection Agency requirements.
CFIA, HACCP, GMPs and Safe Food for Canadians Regulations knowledge are important for this position.

$24 – $28/hour + overtime after 44 hours

Mon to Fri 7 am to 5 pm + every 2nd Saturday
Key Responsibilities
– Manage daily receiving operations across three receiving docks, ensuring safe, organized, accurate, and efficient unloading of inbound meat products, ingredients, packaging, supplies, and related materials.
– Develop, maintain, and communicate the delivery schedule to suppliers, carriers, production, and quality assurance to support plant priorities and prevent dock congestion.
– Assign dock doors, receiving labour, staging area
What you bring:
-Minimum 3-5 years of receiving, warehouse, logistics, or cold-storage experience, preferably in a meat, food processing, refrigerated distribution, or CFIA-regulated environment.
-Previous supervisory or lead-hand experience in a fast-paced receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing setting.
-Knowledge of CFIA expectations, Safe Food for Canadians Regulations, HACCP-based or preventive control programs, GMPs, and allergen or cross-contamination prevention is an asset.
-Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification, where required by the facility an asset.
-Proficiency with inventory management, Microsoft Office, email, spreadsheets, and electronic receiving records.
-Strong planning, scheduling, organization, and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to manage multiple docks, delivery changes, urgent production needs, and inventory priorities at the same time.
-High attention to detail for documentation, product identification, temperatures, inventory accuracy, and regulatory requirements.
-Effective communication skills.
