Full Time Loan Underwriter- Bilingual in French and English

Perks
$25 to $29/hour
5 day work schedule with schedule out 1 month in advance
Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 9:00 pm (8 hour schedule); Saturday 10 am to 7 pm
Hybrid – 2 day work from home
3 days in the office (downtown Toronto)

Experience Required
2 yrs bilingual underwriting experience (preferably renovations & vehicle)
Financial industry experience is preferred.
Post-secondary education preferred (college or university) in business, finance or administration.
A criminal record check and credit background check will be required for the successful candidate.

Responsibilities:
– Review Applications to ensure applicants meet the credit requirements
– Read credit reports
– Run a risk assessment
– Analyze credit bureau application and evaluate risk
– Confirm ownership information
– Provide terms on approvals based on risk assessment
– Ensure documentation is properly entered and received and updated
– Ensure accurate information is entered on high dollar deals and other clerical aspects pertaining to the position
