Production Associate – Plastics Plant NEW

Our client, a plastics manufacturer in Aurora, is looking for great people to join their team! This is a direct hire job opportunity! After a three month probation, you will be eligible for: medical and dental benefits, paid time off, and RRSP matching!

Responsible for:
– Packing a variety of manufactured products (lids and containers) accurately and efficiently
– Check quality of product every stack, top and bottom
– Apply appropriate colored bag to the stack and pack and tape the bag closed
– Place bagged product into the appropriate bin
– Count and document the number of plastic sleeves of products that are packed during each shift
– Ensure that all parts are removed from the machine, table and over top of the conveyor
– Print boxes and labels

Pay rate:
– $19.50/hour

Requirements:
– Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent
– Basic math and computer skills
– Must be able to differentiate between colors and their shades
– Must be able to speak, read and write English
– Must be able to bend, twist and lift up to 30lbs on a continuous basis
– Able to work 12 hour rotating continental shifts
