May 18 is Global Accessibility Access Day.

The purpose of GAAD is to get everyone talking, thinking and learning about digital access/inclusion and people with different disabilities.

Accessing 911 emergency services is important for everyone including people who have communication difficulties including hearing and speaking.

Text with 9-1-1 (T9-1-1) is a free-of-charge service that allows deaf or hard of hearing users as well as those who have difficulty speaking, to communicate with a 9-1-1 call centre in the form of text messaging, also known as Short Message Service (SMS).

For more information about T9-1-1 service availability, compatible mobile phones, eligibility rules, how to register and how to make a T9-1-1 call, please contact your mobile service provider.

Book an Emergency or Standard First Aid Training Course in partnership with Red Cross for your company with our Occupational Wellness Manager.  Dates are available during summer months!
