Our client is a leading General Contracting firm providing construction project management to retail, commercial and office clients, Construction & renovation of retail and office space. Our client focuses and has developed a strong market in the ICI projects around the Greater GTA
Full time, permanent position. Head Office in Mississauga, with flexible opportunity to work from.
Salary range between $48K-$50K annually and Benefits after 3 months with an RSP program.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities :-
-Can assist with accounting management A/R and A/P.
-Provide administrative support for sales documents such as presentations, CCDC documents, credit applications etc.
-Participate in project kick off meetings with sales/estimating and project teams. Become familiar with project scope and deliverables.
-Prepare and circulate client contracts for full understanding of terms, conditions, and project scope.
-Assist with preparation and circulation of required start up documentation for all projects. Start up documentation includes, but is not limited to Ministry of Labor and government filings, emergency protocol, insurance, and Health and Safety manuals.
-Partner with sales/estimating and Project Manager to create project specific cost tracker, using established template.
-Assist in preparing subtrade contracts/work orders/purchase orders/change orders – Project Coordinator is responsible for tracking PO’s, invoices and CO’s through IMS system and in cost tracker for accurate financial reporting.
-Support Project Manager’s review of shop drawings by printing drawings as needed. Help in communication to subtrades, under direction of the project manager.
-Assist in schedule creation and distribution through smartsheet, or similar platform using dates provided by the project manager.
-Attend project close out or after action review (AAR) meeting with estimating and project management team to review estimate versus actual cost as well as lessons learned at the end of a completed project
-Attend Operations and Project Meetings.
-Prepare and/or coordinate close out documentation for all projects to be sent to client.
-Assist project managers in day to day tracking and follow up on all projects as required
-Assist project managers in developing reports for clients and site reports. Attend site meetings as required.
-Support Project Managers with communication to subtrades. May include punch list distribution, schedule follow up or overall project check in.
-Oversee and manage IMS system ensuring invoices are posted, PM approvals are received, and projects are added as required.
