Loans Operations

We are looking for a Loans Operations associate to join our team – we have an immediate vacancy. This role is the operational liaison between our clients and our client management team, ensuring exceptional service for our customers.

They will be able to communicate and meet deadlines set out by established procedures and be accountable to accurately complete their assigned tasks with minimal supervision.

Salary:
– $50,000 – $55,000, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:
– Review client loan requests
– Complete information verification calls as needed
– Provide terms on approvals based on risk assessment
– Liaise with internal staff, external vendors and customers with regard to lending documentation
– Ensure documentation is properly entered, received, and updated
– Answer incoming calls and resolve customer inquiries in a positive manner
– Record accurate details regarding customer inquiries into database and escalate issues as needed

Requirements:
– 2 or more years of experience with loans / banks / financial customer service experience
– Post secondary degree
– Attention to detail
– Strong customer service skills – dealing with confidential information
– Ability to commute to downtown Toronto
– Tech savvy, comfortable with changing technology
