Loading/Unloading – 4 Hours/Day, Monday to Friday NEW

Please note this role is for PART-TIME hours (4 hours per day), but runs MONDAY TO FRIDAY.

Looking for a physically active job in a team-based environment? We’re hiring Driver Helpers to support dock operations at a commercial linen facility in Burlington. This is a part-time temporary role that could extend several weeks or longer, with potential for temp-to-hire for the right fit.

Location: Burlington, ON

Wage: $18/Hour – weekly pay every Friday, and 4% vacation pay will be added on top!

Schedule: Part-Time | Monday to Friday | 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM

What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Driver Helper, you’ll assist with both unloading and loading delivery trucks at the end of each day’s route. You’ll help sort soiled linens and move them to the appropriate department using the facility’s rail system, then restock the trucks with clean product in preparation for the next day.

Key Responsibilities:
– Unload soiled linens and place them into designated bags
– Use wall-mounted rail controls to send product to correct departments
– Sweep and clean truck interiors after unloading
– Reload clean linens in route order, based on driver instructions
– Move trucks between the dock and lot as needed

What We’re Looking For:
– Comfortable with repetitive heavy lifting (up to 50lbs), bending, twisting, and walking
– Able to work in a hot, humid environment with strong odors (dirty linens and cleaning chemicals)
– Great attention to detail and ability to follow direction
– Must hold a valid G-Class driver’s license and have a clean driver’s abstract

Additional Info:
This role is physically demanding and requires you to stay alert, work safely, and keep things organized for the next day’s delivery. Steel-toed boots are not required, but you must wear closed-toe shoes.
