Installation Technician – Sign Industry

We’re hiring an Installation Technician to join our clients Oakville-based team! In this role, you’ll help install and mount signage at client sites, ensuring high-quality work that meets design specifications. Location: Oakville, ON

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Overtime eligible)

Wage: $22/hour

Key responsibilities could include, but are not limited to the following:
– Install a variety of signs (fascia, channel letters, pylons, vinyl, awnings, etc.)
– Read and interpret blueprints, site surveys, and work orders
– Prepare job sites, remove old signage, and ensure secure electrical connections
– Measure, place, and mount signs accurately and safely
– Operate and inspect trucks, trailers, and aerial lift equipment
– Maintain tools and equipment, and follow all safety protocols
– Handle loading/unloading materials and cleanup after installation
– Keep accurate records of job progress, photos, inventory, and logs
– Collaborate closely with the Install Manager and team members
– Support other duties and special projects as needed

What You Bring:
– Crane operator (0-8 ton) certificate (required)
– Valid DZ or AZ license (preferred)
– Minimum 2 years of experience in sign installation or similar work
– Previous experience in construction or manufacturing is an asset
– Ability to safely operate heavy machinery and aerial lift equipment
– Valid commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record
