General Labourer – Heavy Lifting NEW

We are hiring general labourers to join our team in Midland!

Duties include:
– Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually
– Check and weigh materials and products
– Sort, pack, crate and package materials and products
– Assist machine operators, assemblers and other workers
– Heat, anneal, temper or form float glass or glass products

This job has rotating shifts – every 2 weeks you will change shifts between:
– Days: Monday to Friday 6:45am-3pm
– Midnights Sunday to Thursday 10:45pm-7am
– Afternoons Sunday to Thursday 2:45pm-11pm

The pay rate for the day shift is $20.20/hour and you get a $1.35/hour shift premium when you work afternoons and nights!

Requirements:
– Able to lift 50lbs repetitively
– Available to work all three shifts, as they rotate every 2 weeks
– Manufacturing experience
