Forklift Operator with Heavy Equipment Operating Experience

Upcoming Role!

We are looking for a strong material handler with forklift experience to join our team in Waterdown! This is a full time, long term position! All applicants must be able to work 40 hours per week on their SIN long term (at least one year). Apply today!

You will be operating the counterbalance forklift and preparing items for production! Some of this work is outdoors so you must be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors all year. This is a very dusty environment with a strong scent – please keep that in mind when applying. The pay rate for this position is $24/hour and we pay weekly every Friday!

Hours: 6am-2:30pm Mon-Fri

Job Duties:
– Operate a counterbalance forklift and front-end loader
– Cleaning of the plant as required
– Daily maintenance of equipment
– Monitor quality and record general production information
– Load and unload product by hand
– Sweeping and Shoveling in between forklift operation to keep worksite clean

Requirements:
– Must be able to work 40 hours per week on your SIN long term (at least 1 year)
– Ability to lift up to 50lbs
– Must have your own vehicle to get to and from work – not transit accessible
– Previous experience in a production/manufacturing setting
– Previous experience operating forklift, loader, or scissor lift.
– Must have basic math skills and strong verbal and written communication skills.
– Must be able to work in smellier, dustier environments
