Forklift Cross-Dock Operations

ABL Employment is hiring skilled Forklift Operators for cross-dock operations in Mississauga. You’ll play a key role in the safe and accurate movement of freight on the dock while maintaining a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
– Operate forklifts to load/unload and stage freight (Counterbalance, Raymond Reach, Walkie).
– Perform scanning to ensure accurate freight tracking and placement.
– Identify and report unsafe or non-compliant freight to supervisors.
– Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following all dock safety protocols.
– Collaborate with the team to meet service and operational targets.

Qualifications:
– Valid forklift licence (Counterbalance, Raymond Reach, Walkie).
– Must have cross-dock experience only (warehouse-only experience not accepted).
– Clean CRC (Criminal Record Check).
– Must be a Permanent Resident or Citizen of Canada.
– Safety-focused, detail-oriented, and dependable in a fast-paced dock environment.

Work Conditions:
– Frequent forklift operation and physical freight handling.
– Exposure to varying temperatures in a dock setting.
– Steel-toe work boots required.
