Ensure route efficiency to maximize deliveries.
Excellent phone manner and strong computer skill with strong proficiency with Excel
Act as liaison between customer and driver and maintain consistent communication.
Process new orders and log and maintain data entry and invoices.
Manage fleet to meet delivery expectations and customer’s requests.
Follow up regarding issues or delays with orders.
Monitor e-mails and respond in a timely manner to all inquiries.
Monitor driver logs for any errors or violations including hours of service.
Maximize profitability by optimizing rates and efficiency
Qualifications and Experience
At least 2 years’ experience as a Logistics Dispatcher in transportation industry or similar.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and very computer savvy
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Strong knowledge of geography specifically in GTA and Ontario.
Effective problem solving and negotiation skills
Highly organized and ability to multitask with strong time management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook/ Email.
Strong understanding of all applicable transportation and health and safety
