Dispatcher / Load Planner with Truckmate Experience

We are currently seeking a City Dispatcher to join our operations team in Delta, BC. If you have a solid understanding of the Lower Mainland, this job is for you!

This role is responsible for pre-planning loads and dispatching drivers. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of the full trip process, from pre-planning through completion, to ensure all shipments meet pick-up and delivery times and align with appointments and customer expectations.

The pay rate for this position is $27/hour and we pay weekly every Friday! This is a long term, ongoing position! Opportunity for growth and to be hired on directly with our client! Once hired directly with our client, you will be eligible for benefits and other incentives!

What you’ll be doing:
Pre-plan and coordinate city loads to ensure efficient operations
Dispatch drivers according to scheduled pick-up and delivery appointments
Manage the entire trip lifecycle, including planning, updating, and completing trips
Monitor shipments and proactively address delays or changes
Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams
Maintain accurate and timely dispatch and trip documentation

What you bring:
Proven experience working as an LTL dispatcher or planner, with ability to manage or plan for 15+ drivers.
Prior experience using Truckmate
Up-to-date with technology, and comfortable with automated systems and processes
Strong teamwork skills, a positive attitude, and excellent attendance record.
Previous dispatch supervisor experience an asset with potential growth into lead position
Solid knowledge of the Lower Mainland area, and strong organizational skills
