Can you handle the heat?! We are looking for a Preventative Maintenance Associate to work in a high heat environment in Acton! Full time hours, long term position!
Overhead Hoist repair experience is an asset
Job Duties:
– Install, maintain, repair and troubleshoot stationary and rotating industrial machinery.
– Perform corrective maintenance on production equipment including overhead cranes, hoists, filter press, pumps, dust collectors, and hydraulic/pneumatic circuits.
– Troubleshoot machinery and equipment during failures that may be related to mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, hydraulic and/or pneumatic causes.
· Repair and overhaul pumps and transmission assemblies.
· Install and/or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures and other electrical components.
· Test electrical equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
· Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial electrical control systems and other related devices.
· Work at heights during the execution of maintenance activities.
· Design and/or fabricate jigs that aid during the installation and repair of machinery, or that will enhance the production process.
· Provide feedback on the causes of equipment failure to improve the preventive maintenance program.
· Report work done using maintenance work order system.
· Report on equipment defects or failures to the maintenance supervisor.
· Participate during the creation of maintenance repair, start-up/reset, and safety procedures.
Requirements:
– Minimum five (5) years of hands-on experience in a maintenance related role in an industrial environment.
– Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams during the troubleshooting of failures or during the continuous improvement process of those systems.
– Must be able to lift 50lbs
– Able to lift, bend, twist, and kneel
– Able to work 10 to 12 hour shifts
– Able to work in a high heat environment
– Comfortable wearing a hard hat and other PPE
Overhead Hoist experience is an asset!
Shift:
– Monday – Thursday 9pm-7am
Pay rate:
– $24/hour
– Weekly pay every Friday
– Overtime opportunities are available
