Park Sanitation – Seasonal – $18.75/Hour NEW

As a Sanitation Worker for municipal parks, you’ll help keep Oakville’s public spaces clean, safe, and welcoming for the community. This is an active, outdoor role that involves working both independently and with a partner.

Location: Oakville, ON

Pay: $18.75/hour + 4% vacation pay (paid weekly, every Friday)

Schedule: Full-time, September 2nd – until end of fall (seasonal, outdoor role)

Shifts: Days: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Afternoons: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
(5 days/week; if scheduled on a weekend, you’ll receive a weekday off in lieu)

What You’ll Do
– Pick up litter and debris throughout parks and surrounding areas
– Empty garbage bins and ensure proper waste disposal
– Clean, sanitize, and restock public washrooms
– Drive a Municipality of Oakville vehicle along an assigned route
– Ensure parks and green spaces are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness

What We’re Looking For
– Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
– Valid G or G2 driver’s license with a clear driver’s abstract
– Bondable and able to pass/submit a clear police record check
– Flexible to work weekdays, weekends, and different shifts (day or afternoon)
