A leading global producer in Mississauga, has an opening for a full time Furnace Operator.

What You Bring:
– Certificate in heat treatment
– Licensed in Forklift and Overhead Crane
– High School Diploma
– Strong attention to detail
– Experience and knowledge of furnace operations and inspections

Full Time hours
$28-$35/hr depending on experience

Responsibilities
– Operate and Monitor vacuum, atmosphere and nitriding furnaces
– Familiar with forklifts and overhead cranes
– Prepare loads for heat treatment furnaces
– Perform minor furnace or equipment maintenance and cleaning
– Inspections
– Perform Sand blasting parts when required
– Replacing gases when needed
– Report potential risks or issues
– Regular house keeping of the shop floor
– Manage furnace logs
