About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Counterbalance Operator to join our team in a fast-paced shoe warehouse in Bradford. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in shipping and receiving, pick and pack operations, and safely operating a counterbalance forklift to move and organize pallets.
This is a long-term position. You must have access to your own car, as the location is not transit accessible
Key Responsibilities:
-Operate a counterbalance forklift to load, unload, and move products and materials.
-Perform shipping and receiving duties including verifying orders and inspecting incoming/outgoing goods.
-Pick and pack items accurately based on orders and show requirements.
-Organize warehouse space and maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
-Assist with inventory counts and general warehouse duties as required.
-Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Requirements:
-Minimum 6 months of experience operating a counterbalance forklift.
-Valid and current counterbalance forklift license required.
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
-Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
-Experience in a show warehouse or similar fast-paced logistics environment is an asset.
