Warehouse Associate – Tile/Flooring Company

Join a well-established, family-run tile and flooring supplier with a strong presence in the Burlington and Hamilton area. The team takes pride in delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a supportive, hands-on work environment.

Location: Burlington, ON
Pay: $18.50/hour – Paid weekly every Friday + 4% vacation pay

What You’ll Do:
– Handle all shipping and receiving activities
– Load and unload delivery trucks (including side-loading Hino trucks)
– Pick and prepare tile orders for customers
– Perform heavy lifting (up to 50-70 lbs) and repetitive physical tasks
– Maintain a clean and organized warehouse space
– Communicate and coordinate with customer service staff
– Occasionally assist customers directly

What We’re Looking For:
– Previous warehouse experience (required)
– Comfortable with physically demanding work, including frequent lifting, bending, and twisting
– Forklift experience is a strong asset
– Solid basic math skills, including the ability to calculate square footage
– Available for full-time hours, including Saturdays (a weekday off will be provided in lieu)

Basic Math You’ll Use:
You’ll often calculate square footage with this simple formula:
Length (ft) × Width (ft) = Square Footage
Then multiply the result by the number of tiles in a box.
