Power Engineer In A Cannabis Green House

We are currently seeking several local Class 5 Power Engineers for afternoon and night shifts at a Cannabis Green House. This is an awesome opportunity for Power Engineering Students to get some great practical experience, or someone looking to continue their career in the field!

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE
Monitor and maintain four low pressure boilers.
Clean and organize maintenance tool shop.
Repair and Maintenance of packhouse equipment to ensure downtime is minimized.
Repair and Maintenance of Irrigation Systems i.e. Pumps, Valves, Filters, Electronic Controls, Fertilizer Injection Systems Etc.
Repair and Maintenance of Greenhouse Motorized Equipment i.e. Forklifts, Pallet jacks, Scooters, Electric Carts, Picking Carts, Lawnmowers, etc.
Performs scheduled and unscheduled Repairs and Maintenance on the Boiler and supporting equipment. I.e. Pumps, Mixing Valves, Condensers, CO Monitoring Systems, Electrical Control Systems.
In addition to performance of the above duties, you may also be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions
Perform daily, weekly and monthly checklists for all equipment .
Perform basic maintenance tasks.
Perform building repairs and other related duties, as required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
This position requires repetitive motion, handling heavy loads (up to 50 lbs).
Extended periods of time bending, crouching and kneeling is required
Ability to effectively perform duties in a busy and often distracting work environment
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES
5th Class or higher Power Engineering certificate or Trade Ticket/Diploma
Boiler Safety Awareness
Must be able to pass a criminal records check.
