Warehouse Outbound Supervisor

We are looking for a warehouse supervisor to oversee the outbound department of a large warehouse in Delta. You will be the first point of contact in representing the facility to drivers, client contacts, and outbound supporting vendors.

You will be overseeing order releases, picking, packing, shipping, vendor compliance, and outbound supplies

Pay rate:
– $28/hour
– Weekly pay every Friday by direct deposit

Shift:
– Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm

Job duties include:
– Responsible for orders flowing through the facility – drive pace and maintain flow of team’s work
– Ensure that all committed orders shipped on a daily basis – on-time, accurate, and safe
– Represent the order outbound process and area to clients and business contacts
– Directly oversee staff in the outbound department
– Manager outbound team schedules, attendance, and training
– Oversee that team facilitates any compliance-related order tasks
– Promote continuous improvement in all areas

Requirements:
– At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
– Hands-on experience in order release, picking, packing and shipping (order fulfillment functions)
– Efficient flow and throughput management skills
– Ability to communicate to and listen effectively when relating to coworkers, administration and clients
– Highly detail oriented with time management skills
– High proficiency with computers, web based applications, iOS devices, Excel, Word, email, typing
– Good problem solving ability
– Project management experience is an asset
