We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate (Forklift Operator) to join our team. This role involves a mix of forklift operation and general warehouse duties, supporting various departments as needed.
Location: Oshawa, ON
Pay Rate: $22/h
Shift: 7am to 3:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily warehouse tasks including loading, unloading, sorting, picking, packing, stocking, and staging products
Safely load and unload materials from racks, shelves, and vehicles
Stack and organize materials such as pallets, lumber, and other products
Secure shipments using appropriate materials (e.g., strapping, padding, bracing) to prevent damage
Verify inventory accuracy by comparing system records with physical stock
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures
Operate counterbalance and Raymond reach forklifts as required
Assist in other departments and complete additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
Previous warehouse experience preferred
Valid forklift certification (Counterbalance and Reach) required
Ability to lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs]
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
