Hopper Operators wanted for an established fertilizer company in HAMILTON! This company is very well known and has a great impact on the farming and agricultural community, and is proudly Canadian owned.

***This is an outdoor role; dress according to the weather! ***

Full time temp to hire starting at $17.50/hr!- we pay weekly each Friday and add 4% vacation pay on top!

**Must be flexible to work on weekends**
**Must be flexible to work 12 hour shifts (may be 7am-7pm/7pm-7am)

Days: 7am-3:30pm
Afternoons: 3pm-11:30pm
Nights:11pm-7:30am

You will be operating the Hopper Machine, which pours fertilizers (Urea, MAP UAN and Pot Ash) into the trucks. This is in a fenced in elevated platform, approx 15ft. You will also need to climb ladders to reach the top of the hopper to break up any clumping fertilizer affecting the hopper flow.

Other duties will include:

– Sweeping up any fertilizer dropped by the crane/trucks during down time
– Using the computer to input incoming truck information and documenting truck weights on scale

MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT UP TO 40-50 LBS
