Our client is a leading General Contracting firm providing construction project management to retail, commercial and office clients, construction & renovation of retail and office space.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will take ownership of the strategic planning and execution of large-scale construction projects. The role is centered on maintaining accountability throughout the project lifecycle-ensuring that all contract deliverables are met and exceeded.

$140-$150K base depending on experience.

Responsibilities:
– Oversee the execution of construction projects, ensuring contract deliverables are met on time and within budget.
– Lead and mentor the project team, fostering collaboration and maintaining strong client relationships.
– Review project drawings and documentation to ensure quality and compliance with client expectations.
– Manage project schedules, budgets, and financial reporting to ensure profitability and efficiency.
– Coordinate and negotiate change orders and resolve issues quickly to minimize impact on cost and schedule.
– Supervise procurement, subtrade buyouts, and purchase orders to maintain project flow and resources.
– Ensure regular site visits, track project progress, and communicate updates to clients and internal teams.
– Enforce adherence to health, safety, and company policies on all job sites.
– Oversee the closeout process, ensuring all deliverables are completed and final documentation submitted.
– Participate in post-project reviews to assess performance, identify lessons learned, and improve future projects.

Qualifications
– 10+ years working on projects in the Greater Toronto Area. Similar experience elsewhere in Canada or the US will be considered.
– Experience with design build contracts, CCDC14.
– Experience managing project value of $2M- $5M.
– Ability to manage workload of $10M project value, yearly.
