This is a great opportunity for you if you:
– Are mechanically and technically inclined with an ability to discuss products and their attributes with customers
– Experienced in the metals, pipe, valves, or actuators industries
– Interested in joining a company that hires people with the intent of their growing with the organization
– Have 3+ years experience in estimation within a mechanical company.

Responsibilities:
– Respond to request from buyers, engineers and technical personnel at business and industrial establishments by providing technical and commercial information about the products and services offered; attempt to convince prospective customers of desirability and practicability of products and services offered.
– Review blueprints, specifications, plans, and other customer documents; evaluate customer application requirements; analyzes the process conditions; size and select suitable actuators, controls and components; consult with Suppliers and colleagues as required.
– Propose changes in equipment, processes, materials and/or services which would result in cost reduction or improvement in product performance.
– Calculate sell prices using established pricing structures, price books, quotes from Supplier, etc.; consult with the Inside Sales Manager as necessary.
– Estimate delivery lead time based on quote from Supplier, stock availability, and transportation method(s).
– Consider commercial requirements of quotation (payment terms, warranty, liability, penalties, etc.); consults with Supplier, Contract Administrator and/or Inside Sales Manager as necessary.
– Solicit supplier quotes for engineered-to-order items and manage supplier involvement in preparation of technical
