General Labour – Chemical Mixing NEW

We are looking for a general labourer to join our team in Milton! You will be working for a manufacturing plant that mixes chemicals. We are looking for someone with forklift experience (no certification required but you must be able to pass an in-house forklift assessment).

Work for a family owned and operated company that has been in business for over 95 years!

Duties Include:
– Gathering raw materials to load in mixers
– Packaging products, based on customer requirements
– Running mixing and packaging equipment
– Manually lifting and stacking 20L pails, jugs and boxes on skids
– Operating a forklift to move products throughout the facility
– Monitor mixes to ensure they conform to quality control standards

Requirements:
– Must be able to work 40 hours per week on your SIN long term
– Must be able to lift 50+lbs repetitively
– Must have experience operating a forklift – you will be tested on this
– Able to follow specific instructions and direction
– Experience working with flammable and combustible liquids is an asset
– Basic math and reading skills

Shift:
– Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4pm

Pay rate:
– $19/hour
– Weekly pay every Friday by cheque or direct deposit

Location:
– Milton, ON
– Transit is limited, all applicants must live in Milton or have their own car to get to and from work
