Bring your financial & accounting background to a company with 50+ years’ in the valve industry. The company continuously seeks new ways, methods and approaches to serve their customers, to add value to their employees, building a profitable and forward looking future.
Managing the company’s financial and accounting policies; systems and processes; tax and
regulatory requirements; payroll systems, processes and organizational controls; ongoing
financial modeling; and assist with annual business plan.
Supervises and/or Performs:
Accounts Receivable and invoicing
Accounts Payable invoice review and entries
General journal entries
Inventory transactions – production orders, cost/quantity adjustments
Monitors foreign exchange and updates system as required
Maintains sales representative commission records
Conducts weekly cheque/EFT payment runs for Canadian and US suppliers; books foreign
wire payments and makes internet payments for accounts as deemed appropriate
Remits corporate taxes
Analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital, and prepares balance
sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize current finances
