You’ll be reporting to the Installation and Repair Manager and will actively participate in and oversee the day-to-day operations of an assigned team of Customer Service Technicians whose primary role is installation and repair of our core services.
Oversee day-to-day operations of Customer Service Technicians
Conduct regular 1:1 meetings and team sessions
Ensure quality installations and repairs, focusing on safety
Address customer issues and collaborate with stakeholders
Administer Employee Performance Improvement Plans
Review, approve, and submit timesheets
Facilitate hiring, onboarding, and terminations
Develop and implement internal training programs
Monitor budget, provide input for departmental budgets
Participate in installation, splicing, testing, and maintenance
Utilize construction equipment for installations
Minimum 5 years in telecom industry
Experience in copper and fiber plant
Knowledge of central office equipment
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and mapping software
Project management experience
Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills and community interaction
Mechanically inclined with valid G license and clean driving record
