Hiring a Full Time, Temp to Hire Woodworker to join the team of a leading manufacturer of stairs and railing systems for homes throughout the GHTA!

NOTE: This is a role that requires previous woodworking or carpentry experience. Circular saw experience is a MUST!

Requirements:

– Knowledge of the various types of woods and veneer, glue and adhesives etc. is ideal
– Ability to safely operate woodworking machines, including radial arm and band saws
– A good understanding of measuring and shop drawings, written instruction and work orders
– Knowledge of various hand/power tools

Location: Burlington, ON

Shifts: Monday to Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

$21-22/Hour to start depending on experience

Your Role:

You will be working in the Circle and Tread department assisting with custom orders – previous carpentry and/or construction experience is needed. You will be working with various power/hand tools, circular saws and various types of woods/materials. Lifting up to 50lbs will be involved.
