This is a great Temp to Hire position as a Continuous Improvement Manager with a Great established company
The Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for:
-Responsible for developing, maintaining, and implementing Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QSHE) systems in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
-Communicates information on the QSHE management system throughout the organization and promotes HSE awareness through various communication channels (i.e. Training, Emails, Meetings, Work Instructions, and Signs)
-Undertake QSHE audits internally and with third parties to ensure compliance
-Follows up on the preventative and/or corrective actions identified during the inspections and monitors the timely closing of the actions
-Tracks issues reported and looks for common occurrences
-Performs facility walk through to monitor and promote a safe workplace
-Suggest and advise changes to ensure continuous improvement
-Actively participate in the incident investigations and prepare required reports in consultation with the management
-Diligently performs any other reasonable work or related tasks at the request of their manager
-Organize soft and hard files with focus on digitalization
-Ensure that reporting is done prompt and accurately
-Produce and update QSHE reports as required
-Report all relevant information to management promptly and accurately
-Creates new QSHE reports and tools for use by employees and management
-Complies and strives to accomplish business objectives in the short, medium, and long terms
-Ensures operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner and in conformance to federal, provincial and company safety regulations by integrating and implementing company and third-party QSHE policies and procedures.
-Train JHSC members on their roles and responsibilities

SPECIFIC
Technical Skills
-TDG certification
-WHMIS certification
-First Aid Level 1 and 2 certification
-JHSC Trained
-Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
-Have excellent verbal and written English with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels within the Company
