Compensation Administrator-Accounts Payable    Temporary

Description

Our client, one of the largest and oldest insurance companies in Canada, is looking for a compensation administrator. You will be performing day to day processing of accounts payable transactions and administration of recognition programs.

Responsibilities:

 Receive and verify invoices for goods and services, including related taxes
 Verify that transactions comply with recognition policies and procedures
 Prepare batches of invoices for data entry, including splitting across multiple cost centres
 Data enter invoices for payment in excel
 Submit expenses to payroll for reimbursement to employees
 Prepare and enter vendor and employee cheques for approval
 Maintain file of payments
 Track, report, and balance cash advances against submitted expenses
 Coordinate with Accounts Payable to ensure expenses are directed to the appropriate department for processing

Qualifications:

 Microsoft Office Suite Included Outlook, Word and Excel
 Accuracy, numerical aptitude, working knowledge of accounts payables
 Self-starter, well organized, ability to communicate in writing and orally in a clear and respectful manner, demonstrates a client service mindset
 Works collaboratively, able to identify and resolve routine problems
